Real Techniques Mini Haul

Real Techniques Mini Haul

Core Collection
£21.00 (Boots UK)

This kit contains four brushes in a case:

  • Contour Brush - This brush is great for bronzer, contouring and blush application. I've been using this brush loads for my MAC cremeblend brush as because its syntactic hair I don't have the worry of any hairs falling out.
  • Pointed Foundation Brush - This brush is much smaller than your average foundation brush, but it allows you to get into hard to reach places on the face.
  • Detailer Brush - This brush is very small but is perfect to conceal small spots on the face, apply eye shadow to the inner corner of the eyes or use as a lip brush.
  • Buffing Brush - My favourite brush, one of the main reason I bought this kit, if I had to compare this brush it’s between a Sigma F80 and Sepoha buffing brush, as it's not as dense as the Sigma brush but not as soft as the Sepoha brush, it’s very difficult to explain so will make a separate review on this. I love using this brush for my foundation, I have used this brush every day to apply my foundation and I love, love, love it!!!!
  • Case - This case is very unique. It's not like your everyday brush roll. It can be used as a brush stand by pulling the string on the back. Or can be folded away and kept as a secure brush case. Very unique and is always in my bag with my other everyday brushes.
Starter Set
£21.99 (Boots UK)

 This kit contains five brushes:

  • Deluxe Crease Brush - This brush is another reason why I bought this brush set, I purposely wanted this brush set to use this brush for concealer. And to be honest, since using this kit I haven't used this brush for concealer but more with paint pots or thick creamy eye shadows.
  • Base Shadow Brush - I use this brush for my concealer; it applies a smooth layer of concealer without it looking cakely or to thick. I also use this brush to blend harsh lines of eye shadows.
  • Accent Brush:  A small brush to apply color on your lower lash line and to blend. I have tend to use this brush for lipsticks and applying lip gloss.
  • Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush:  Too thick for eyeliner, but can be used as detail brush. Reminds me of a longer pencil brush.
  • Brow Brush - Typical brow brush, I thought when looking in photos that it was a thick/sharp but it’s actually a very fluffy brow brush and makes applying eye shadow to your eye brow very natural looking
  • Case - same as core collection. Can be used as a stand or brush roll.
 Stippling Brush
£11.99 (Boots UK)

This brush to me reminds me of a MAC 188 and MAC 130 in one. It’s long like a MAC 188 but is as dense like a MAC 130. I love applying liquid/cream foundations with this brush because of the duo fibres it really buffs into the skin and makes your foundation look air brushed.

Hope you liked this mini haul and review.

I really do like using these brushes. Some brushes I don't use, but anyone who is new to makeup or makeup brushes, I do recommend this brushes, I will be doing a more detailed blog post about these brushes when I owe all the brushes.
