MAC Angel vs Creme Cup Lipstick

MAC Angel vs Creme Cup
Lipstick

Angel            vs          Creme Cup

Do you really need to buy both lipsticks???

NO!!!!

Save your money :)

Even thought these lipsticks are well known, one of Kim Karashions number one picks and also MAC's best sellers, do you really need to spend the extra money on buying both? I personally don't think so, and think you should save your money. Even though they are great to own if I had to pick one I would pick creme cup, but that's my personal option.

As you can see in my photos they are both a pale pink and cream sheen (which means they are creamy and mouisturing) there isn't much different between them. When on the lips in photos Angel does look lighter and does apply lighter but creme cup would look exactly the same if appliled lightly.

These lipsticks are great to own but no need to buy both at the same time, in fairness they look great on every skin tone and are perfect for wedding and brides, these lipsticks are my signature lipsticks mixed together for a bridal lipstick. And great for every day looks for a lighter pink/nude lip.

If you have both lipsticks which one would you recommend?

This is them in the lip palette melted.

Can you really see much difference??????

How to melt your lipsticks to create a Lip Palette

How to melt Lipsticks for a Lipstick Palette
Hi guys just a quick post to show you how to melt your lipsticks to make a lipstick palette. When I did someone's makeup, someone asked me how I did it so decided to make a blogpost. Hope you enjoy.

What you will need:

A empty palette of your choice.

(I used a MAC palette as I have already melted lipsticks for my lip palette and had 2 spaces left)

A metal pan ( that fits in your palette)

(I had bought these 26mm metal pans which fits my mac palette perfectly which I got from eBay)

A Candle

(Children be CAREFUL! Always ask permission/ get adults help when using lighters/candles)

A Metal Spoon

And lipsticks that you wish to melt to put in your palette.

What you need to do:

Firstly, place down newspaper, kitchen towel or paper down to protect your surfaces.

Then light your candle (Please be careful)

Then cut the lipstick or remove any product that is left in the lipstick tube onto the spoon.

Then CAREFULLY!! place the spoon over the flame and slowly melt the lipstick.

As you can see in picture the lipstick is slowly melting.

Keep the spoon over the flame until all of the lipstick is melted DON'T LET THE LIPSTICK BOIL, it will change the colour/texture of the lipstick and wont work.

When all of the lipstick is melted pore into the empty palette tin.

Then wait until the lipstick has cooled down before moving it. You may burn your fingers or disturb the lipstick when setting.

And your done! Place the lipstick tin in your palette and repeat to complete your palette.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post.
